What they say about the North Tyneside International Youth Football Tournament!

"Many great players have graced the competition over the years including past and present squad members of Newcastle United. When players of the calibre of Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas and Aaron Hughes have participated, you know this tournament rightly deserves to be celebrating its 21st anniversary."
Graeme Souness

"What must be particularly encouraging for the organisers is the lively interest the tournament is attracting from many overseas clubs and countries. In my view, football has a unique global role to play in creating greater knowledge and understanding of other nations, providing the game is played in the proper sporting spirit. I wish the tournament continuing success and would hope, above everything, that all of you involved, on or off the field, have a really enjoyable time."
